After years of development from the ground up, Anecdote Baseball is ready to launch and start its real evolution.

Anecdote Baseball features original writing and research about all things baseball. The site strives to put forth the most fun, compelling and complete statistical picture, all while not falling apart from a technical or legal standpoint. Through revelry, advocacy, asthetics or accounting, we at Anecdote Baseball are committed to celebrating all that happens on a baseball field--never through just a top-5 list.

I could start with some real political stuff with baseball, stratification, workmanship and community in baseball. Wins being preeminent or irrelevent, whatever. I could and very well might. But as for the site and how it got here, I'm grateful for my dad who taught me he loved me and I guess to feel the same way about baseball.

This website has developed over the last year plus, with procastination, infatuation and other thematically consistent words to that negativity; but so many good ones too. Writing is hard but so is feeling 100% there with whatever you're doing. Just the time commitment. But whatever you the reader are doing that's got you being you, maybe stressed, whatever you're trying or creating, it's bleeping awesome.

Upon launch, the site has 10 articles all featuring original research. I'm unsure of the pace after that launch and initiation into being a www., but there will definitely be more articles. Current stuff about the MLB season, historical stuff, maybe some interviews. longitudinal research and historical stuff. Random and ---there's a near infinite range of topics after all.

At Anecdote Baseball, we'd love to hear from you, maybe even colaborate. Staff writers currently equal one.
